Murdoch Square is Western Australia’s newest landmark mixed-use healthcare precinct, setting a new benchmark for innovation, connectivity and community wellbeing.
Opening in early 2024, the integrated development comprises five architecturally designed buildings unified by a shared podium.
It brings together WA’s first Courtyard by Marriott hotel, an aged care facility, specialist medical suites, WA’s first medi-hotel, commercial office space and a private hospital within a single, highly accessible destination.
At the heart of the precinct, a landscaped plaza enriched with cafés and dining options creates a welcoming town-centre atmosphere and encourages year-round activation. Murdoch Square also offers residential units, including specialist apartments thoughtfully designed for individuals with disabilities.
As the inaugural stage of the Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct (MHKP) and part of the broader Murdoch Activity Centre (MAC), a State Government strategic priority area, Murdoch Square is strategically positioned to meet the needs of a rapidly growing catchment. Directly adjacent to two of WA’s largest tertiary hospitals and only 13 kilometres from the Perth CBD, the precinct has been purposefully designed as a community asset that supports tertiary education, research, clinical services and the future of health in Western Australia.
