Ben is the founder of Hesperia and has extensive experience in all facets of property development and investment, including due diligence and acquisitions, planning and approvals, sales and leasing, finance, construction and asset management.
Prior to Hesperia, Ben was a founder and Director of Linc Property, which delivered a range of large commercial and industrial projects. He was previously a director and co-founder of the investment bank Azure Capital and a Director of Poynton and Partners, where he led major capital raisings, project finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory services.
Ben studied mechanical engineering at the University of Western Australia, where he graduated with first-class honours and as the top student in his year. Ben has since completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
Ben has a variety of philanthropic interests, including mental health, arts, education, and Indigenous empowerment. He is a board member of the WA Property Council and Perth Festival.

Judd sits on the Hesperia board and is responsible for Hesperia’s industrial business.
Judd has deep experience across multiple property sectors, bringing broad insights and perspective to his role on the Hesperia Board. In addition to driving the establishment and subsequent growth of Hesperia’s residential business, he oversees Hesperia’s Industrial portfolio, which is pivotal to shaping and implementing investment strategies aligned with Hesperia’s long-term objectives, with a focus on value creation, risk management, and sustainable growth.
He has led numerous large and complex capital transactions, along with fundraising, structuring and establishing over $2b fund platforms within the group, as well as development, asset, and property management functions, with a strong focus on identifying emerging market opportunities and building enduring partnerships.
Judd holds a Master’s of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Town Planning. He has served on the Property Council of Australia’s Industrial and Infrastructure Committee and was a board member of SwanCare Group, where he chaired the Finance and Risk Committee.

Song oversees the firm’s daily operations, managing key functions including Workplace Health & Safety, Technology, Process Improvement, and Human Resources Coordination.
Additionally, he provides strategic guidance on Hesperia’s medium- and long-term business and financial planning and plays a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with project finance partners.
With extensive experience in transaction structuring, project finance, due diligence, and acquisitions, Song has previously held pivotal roles in driving business growth. Before joining Linc Property, he was a key member of the Investment Committee at Capital Partners, a prominent wealth management firm.
Song holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance and Accounting) from the University of Western Australia and is a CFA Charterholder.

Cheryl plays a central role in Hesperia’s financing activities, managing relationships with investors and financiers across existing projects and new developments. She is closely involved in the financing, oversight and governance of Hesperia’s property investment mandates.
Cheryl has a background in investment banking and corporate advisory. She has advised on complex public and private transactions, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, capital structuring and business strategy across the property, infrastructure, natural resources, biotechnology and retail sectors. Before joining Hesperia, she was a director of Azure Capital, a corporate advisory and investment banking firm, and held senior roles at Pioneer Credit. She has also served as a non-executive director of an ASX-listed early-stage biotechnology company.
She holds a Bachelor of Science and Commerce from the University of Western Australia, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Cheryl is a board member of Foundation Housing, where she sits on the Finance, Risk and Compliance Committee.

David is responsible for Hesperia’s accounting, financial reporting, tax, risk, and compliance functions, and has extensive experience in developing and enhancing financial systems.
With over 25 years of financial leadership and management experience across the property, hospitality, retail, and healthcare industries in Canada, the USA, and Australia, David brings a wealth of expertise. His property experience is broad, encompassing the development, investment, and management of various asset types across a wide range of investment structures, working with listed, institutional, and private groups.
Most recently, David served as Chief Financial Officer at Satterley Property Group, Australia’s largest private land development business, operating in Western Australia, Victoria, and Queensland. Before his tenure at Satterley, he was Chief Financial Officer at Primewest, a Perth-based national private property funds management business listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and later acquired by Centuria Capital Group.
David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Grant heads Hesperia’s residential team and portfolio across Perth. He oversees the complete development lifecycle, from acquisition and planning through to construction, sales and settlement, along with the stakeholder, commercial and approval matters that underpin each project’s success.
With close to two decades of experience across the private and public sectors of the property industry, Grant brings a broad perspective to every project. Before joining Hesperia, he spent eight years with one of Australia’s largest ASX-listed property groups, working in Acquisitions and Planning across a diverse range of projects.
Grant is President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) and a leading industry voice on housing supply and diversity in Western Australia. He engages regularly with government and the media on the sector’s challenges and opportunities. He has also served on committees of the Property Council of Australia and the Committee for Perth.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Urban and Regional Planning from Curtin University and has completed the Executive Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Ian oversees the delivery of Hesperia’s social infrastructure projects. He oversees the delivery of built-form healthcare, social infrastructure, and mixed-use developments.
With over 15 years of experience in the property development industry, Ian has successfully delivered several award-winning projects across residential, hospitality & leisure, healthcare, and commercial sectors, including the notable Murdoch Square development.
Ian’s career has spanned all major property sectors, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the challenges of property development and the ability to unlock value and manage risk effectively. He is focused on collaborating within high-performing teams and fostering partnerships with those who share a commitment to achieving better outcomes and enhancing the urban environment.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, with a double major in Property and Commercial Law.

Jade is responsible for Hesperia’s People & Culture division. Jade plays a critical role in supporting our staff to reach their full potential.
From onboarding to individualised training programs, Jade provides strategic and operational human resources functions across the business.
She joins Hesperia from Cundaline Resources where she was responsible for HR Management.
Jade holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology, specialising in Behavioural Studies.
