Project Background

The restoration of a heritage-listed building that played a significant role in the social life of Northbridge.

Designed by architect Edwin Summerhayes, Rechabite Hall was erected in 1925 for the Independent Order of Rechabites. Over its lifetime, the hall has been venue for balls, dance exhibitions, church services, conferences, annual meetings, school productions and election polling.

After lying dormant for more than eight years, our team restored the building, bringing four new entertainment venues to Perth.

Project Details

The heritage refurbishment of Rechabite Hall brought this unique space in the centre of Northbridge back to life.

The Rechabite now offers four floors, each with distinctive experiences, wrapped around a live performance space built into the original Independent Order of Rechabite’s hall. The Rechabite is home to The Rechabite Hall performance venue, Double Rainbow Eating House, the Goodwill Club basement club and Hello Rooftop Bar.
