This month, our team showed up for two meaningful community initiatives.
Our people took part in Recipe for Change, an interactive volunteering experience run by Uniting WA that builds understanding of homelessness in Perth. Participants heard directly from someone with lived experience before heading to the Tranby Engagement Hub for a team cook-off, with every meal prepared going to feed people sleeping rough the following day.
We also collected second-hand clothing and shoes to support the Containers for Timor Project, a Rotary Club Australia initiative led by volunteers, including one of our own, that ships donated goods from Perth to communities across Timor-Leste, where everything is distributed free of charge. The project has diverted the equivalent of 600 tonnes of usable goods from landfill, a reminder that pre-loved items can have a real and lasting impact.
Together, these activities are a tangible reflection of our broader commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
