CRC Partnership for RACE 2030

Hesperia has entered a 3-year funding arrangement with the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC), which has the overarching goal of accelerating the transition to Reliable, Affordable, Clean Energy for 2030 (RACE for 2030). The CRC platform matches Commonwealth funding to industry contributions to leverage academic problem-solving on highly relevant, practical topics brought to the CRC by the industry partners.

Hesperia’s Rivermark and Roe Highway Logistics Park (ROE) developments have been nominated as case studies for the Pathways to Net Zero Precincts project, which is part of RACE for 2030, which was hosted in WA by Curtin University.

At Rivermark, researchers will track efforts to support households in making the transition to 100% renewable energy lifestyles and report back on lessons learned. Hesperia hopes to find opportunities for residents at Rivermark to contribute to the research and be kept up to date on findings.

At ROE, the focus is on rethinking industrial estates as energy precincts, aiming to deliver renewable energy outcomes and provide grid support.

Hesperia actively seeks opportunities to participate in research projects that advance sustainability efforts. By participating in these collaborative initiatives, we hope to contribute to innovative solutions and gain valuable insights that will enhance our own sustainability practices. This allows us to stay at the forefront of technology advancements and demonstrates our commitment to driving meaningful progress in sustainability in our developments.
