2022 Fremantle Arts Centre Revealed Exhibition

The annual Revealed Art Exhibition at Fremantle Arts Centre features more than 250 mixed-medium works from 100 emerging and established Aboriginal artists from 25 art centres around Western Australia.

The exhibition is a brilliant and diverse expression of Country, culture and community. More importantly however, Revealed is an invitation to learn more about the current, ancient and enduring stories of the places we call home.

Exhibiting artists have created exciting new works that span a breadth of styles and mediums including painting, textiles, carving and sculpture.

Hesperia was pleased to attend the exhibition as a team and explore the spiritual and symbolic art shaped by personal stories and culture. It was an honour to have Revealed co-curator Jane Chambers guide us on a tour of the exhibition.

Hesperia is committed to actively participating in the national Reconciliation movement, and supporting the empowerment and self-determination of First Nations people through our work and our actions.

Thank you to Fremantle Arts Centre, and co-curators Jane Chambers and Glenn Isegar Pilkington for an incredible show. We would encourage anyone to attend before the Exhibition closes on Saturday 31st July, if you haven’t yet had the opportunity.
